To help continue our success, we are in search of a talented and experienced Internet Copywriter for our Promotional Content Teamin West Chester, PA.
Under the general supervision of the Managing Editor write clear and persuasive selling copy for Metas, Departments, Specialty Shops, Feature Articles, and other areas of the QVC web site, using established templates and guidelines. Edit copy as instructed, to meet evolving project concepts and/or standards. Work directly with Content Producers and Internet Merchandisers to develop strong promotional concepts that support on-air programming and positioning. Proofread work to ensure that copy meets acceptable standards for grammar and punctuation, and adheres to internal style guidelines. Work closely with QVC.com Designers to integrate copy into graphic presentation. Performs regular Quality Checks of the web site to ensure accuracy and proper navigation flow at all times.
Position Qualifications and Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree required. Degrees in English, Communications, or Journalism preferred.
- A minimum of one year of promotional copywriting experience strongly preferred.
- Retail or internet writing experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, manage multiple projects, and display effective time management skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
