Hi there
I'm a freelance journalist who would like to write social and political stories about Zimbabwe for any online publication. How can I get in touch with those interested in receiving such stories? I also have five years experience in sub editing and would be glad to offer my services.

I have a BA honours degree from a British University and before going freelance, I was Chief Sub Editor for a weekly newspaper in this country called The Standard. I also wrote interesting social and political stories for the paper. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely
Benhilda C. (Miss)

Hi Benhilda,

You have an interesting background and should exploit your talents in as many markets as possible. The online marketplace is relatively volatile. In other words, sites appear and disappear so it's hard to pin down what is available. However, I would check out these sites:

Find the editors of these sites or writer's guidelines and send them query letters that detail what type of story you are proposing.

I would also try out the links to your own local media.

I hope I've provided some useful information for you. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

Good luck in your pursuits!
