Responsibilities include

• Assessing
• Copyediting
• Proofreading
• Overseeing production and freelance translations of printed and electronic books, publications and other materials written in English and Spanish.

Proven professional editorial and publication production experience;

• Book editing experience preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Demonstrated skills to identify and correct errors in word usage, grammar, punctuation, and spelling in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently, to organize and work on several projects at once and to communicate effectively with academic staff.
• Familiarity with California's Spanish-speaking populations and agriculture and/or natural resources desired.
