ACD-Copy, RX Pharmaceutical, Interactive
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Avenue e has an opening for an Associate Creative Director (Copywriter). This person will have responsibilities overseeing the creative product on major pharmaceutical interactive accounts. The ACD must have strong oral/written communication, presentation skills, strong conceptualization skills, experience managing multiple projects, interfacing with clients and in developing creative solutions. The person must have a background rooted in traditional marketing principles, leadership abilities that inspire trust, and a top-notch, award winning digital creative portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive and progressive background in healthcare copywriting and interactive marketing experience. He/She will also have both the talent and willingness to be a hands-on manager and mentor to a diverse team. A minimum of 6 years experience in creative is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage creative on multiple interactive accounts from strategic conception through production
• Supervise, lead, inspire a team on various levels
• Allocate resources and define scope of work
• Execute projects and manager to time/budget parameters
• Present and sell in work to clients
• Develop strategic business platforms with account and production teams
• Shape the creative vision for clients/projects, define and maintain visual/copy identities
• Write presentations as well as be hands on with copy development
• Support new business and take creative lead in pitch process
• Liaison and collaborate with the traditional creative dept.
• Advance the overall quality of strategic thinking and design applied technology.

REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding of healthcare and Pharma marketing/strategy
• Experience in developing communications for both physicians and patients
• Understanding of usability, functionality and GUI
• Ability to bring eSolutions to the table and solve problems and resolve issues
• Experience in healthcare and/or pharmaceuticals
• Must have Management/Supervisory experience

SKILLS

• 6-8 years traditional or digital creative direction (copy) in one of the following areas: advertising or direct response
• 2-4 years experience in developing healthcare and/or pharmaceutical marketing efforts
• At least 3 years experience Internet development and online advertising experience required
• In depth industry knowledge. Clearly understands and is able to articulate the limitations and possibilities of the space
• Demonstrates good presentation skills as well as professionalism and experience in client services
• Has successfully demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and departments
• Has successfully demonstrated ability to mentor, manage and direct
• Superior communication, organization and time management skills
