Position Type: Full-Time

If you're a talented writer with five or more years of experience creating financial communications, Vanguard has a challenging position writing marketing and educational materials, including annual report letters, investment research articles and papers, and investment marketing collateral, for range of audiences within our Institutional Investor Group.

Because the complexity of subject matter and audience knowledge will vary widely, you should be able to develop clear, concise, engaging communications that are accurate and appropriately accessible. A thorough knowledge of financial terminology, concepts, products and market is extremely desirable.

All of your communications should reflect Vanguard's brand standards, voice and style, and should meet the clients' expressed needs.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or Journalism, or and equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of five to seven years of professional writing experience in a business, online, or newsroom setting.
• Experience in financial services industry, particularly mutual funds.
• Exceptional writing, with the ability to explain complex subject matter clearly and concisely.
• Ability to assume a leadership role in a project team setting.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and beyond standard business hours when required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
